An Amsterdam centered menswear and womenswear style brand name, Daily Paper collaborates with the Van Gogh Museum To create a collection of co-branded wearables featuring the Dutch master’s identifiable artwork, Vincent Van Gogh.
Several times, they have been spotlighting mashups and large entertaining patterns to change the painted designs modeled by several artists crafted by Daily Paper to stand for transformative ideologies: Marlou Fernanda, AiRich Christian Yav and Bodil Ouedraogo.
Standout items consist of crossbreed coats and reversible bombing plane coats informed by Van Gogh’s famous Sunflowers and a variety of his various other still life works. Here, also quirkier works, like The Potato Eaters, find new life as blown-up prints. Visuals carry bags, headscarves, hats, denim and puffer coats also make good use of Van Gogh’s illustrative approach as all-over patterns. At the same time, intarsia sweaters, published pullovers and effortless Tee shirts are recognized with smaller sized iterations of the painter’s work, complete with Daily Paper branding and Van Gogh’s trademark.
