One of Hong Kong’s famous roads in the streets of Central and Sheung Wan is the Hollywood Road. It was built right after the construction of the Queen’s Road Central during the colony of Hong Kong. It began as an antique market located near the coastline, accessible to foreign merchants importing artifacts collected across the seas.
Technically it has nothing to do with showbiz; rather, it shows a great road of history during the prime days of trading in the area. It highlights a line of antique shops, temples, and a visual story of Hong Kong’s past and present wins and struggles displayed from its structures. Here are several spots along the famous Hollywood Road; Above is a Walkthrough video tour brought to you by Homeless Penthouse; you may also click on each destination to view the map.
