Alexander Calder and Pablo Picasso are finally coming to downtown San Francisco. Displaying over a hundred artworks ranging between 1920-1970. Hosted by de Ypung Museum, this momentous exhibit will expose the in-depth relationship between these two influential artists of the 20th century.
It will be an excellent opportunity to witness their works’ revolutionary impact as they redefined the conception of art itself. Ideally, the exhibit highlights Calder and Picasso’s distinct art approaches to abstraction and form, also how they both redefined figures through abstraction.
You may visit the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco’s website for more info on the “Calder-Picasso” exhibit. It will run from February 27 until May 23, 2021.
