Fendi’s New Creative Director : Kim Jones

The great and remarkable creative director, fashion designer of the fashion house Chanel and also the Italian fur and leather good fashion house of Fendi, Karl Lagerfeld passed away last February 2019, leaving the fashion houses Chanel and Fendi move a bit slower in search for an artistic director, interestingly, his successor Virginie Viard became the woman behind Chanel’s new chapter. After a year, LVMH has finally concluded Fendi’s Women’s collections new artistic director, bestowing it to Kim Jones. He is expected to take over designs for ready to wear, Haute couture and fur as he continues to lead Dior’s menswear.

Jones, celebrating his 2nd year at Fendi, since his several Fashion Week collections, It has been one of the extraordinary situations where a designer will have the wheel over two distinctive luxury megabrands, just as Lagerfeld designed for Chanel, Fendi and his own brand.
